Kristen came to me after I had photographed a couple of her friends from Pope High School- Alyssa Wachs, Kasey Pursley.

Kristen wanted to go out and just get some fun shots so we walked around the property and was fun to work with. We did everything from shots at the barn to on the tire swing and ended with some more formal shots of her in the window sill and playing her saxophone.

Rachel Buckle
I enjoyed photographing Rachel around the campus of Darlington but we also decided to venture out around Rome and get some different backgrounds. Wow this time of year is so beautiful with the fall colors but I always love the feel of some urban backgrounds. With this shoot we got both and with Rachel's great eyes it was hard not to get a good shot.

Sports Posters
Many of my clients have asked to see some of our sports posters. Here are a few and I am working on six more right now and I will post them very soon. The idea is to capture what they love to do, if it football, basketball, ballet or music. Then we can design a very cool poster that you will always cherish. Of course this does not have to only be for seniors.

Blaise

Blaise plays football and basketball for Lassiter and he wanted me to capture that part of him. So I wanted to photograph his senior shoot at his school so we could shoot on the court and on the field. Recently I had photographed one of Blaise's football teammates so when they called I was excited to do another football player. We are also going to design a basketball and football poster so I attended a game on Friday night so I could photograph some action shots for his poster and wow he is some great athlete so it was not hard to get some good actions shots. His posters are going to be incredible and we had a great time. Thanks for bouncing all around the school for me.

Koskay
Koskay is one of my daughter's school friends from Darlington. He came here from Tokyo Japan to attend school here and came to over to visit one weekend with Emily. He has not the average hair style and right before they left to head back to school I wanted to take a couple of pictures of him. Below are a few shots that I did in about ten minutes with most of them taken right in front of Emily's car. I often just use what ever background is around me and make it into what I want. The color of her car gave impact to his picture which worked perfect and then I loved the reflections going on in her windshield and thought that would be pretty cool. So here you go, not bad for a ten minute shoot.

Alex's Senior Book

We love a challenge and when Alex's mother wanted something very different we said we were in. So we went on a venture all around Atlanta and going to place I think they have thought in a million years they would ever be at. We told them we usually charge extra for this kind of cultural experience but in the end we have some incredible pictures. I am posted his album and not his best of single images so you can see how it flows. Each of the below images are two page spreads in this book. The left page and right page together. Many of our seniors just can not narrow down their favorites so will create a Senior Coffee Table book for them.

Megan

Megan goes to school in Newnan but came up to Roswell for her to photograph her senior shoot. We are excited that she would drive so far but we knew she wanted something different that the photographers in her area was not doing. We shots some shots in the studio but then we ventured out and our clients probably wonder what in the world are we thinking we find these locations but the results speak for themselves. Yes a background could be a rusted dumpster or the backside of a Home Depot....but we will not tell anyone if you don't.

EMILY
Emily was a Walton girl and about ready to start at the University of Virgina and had already graduated from Walton but never got around to getting her senior pictures made. So we went out around the studio and just had fun. She is so beautiful so it was not very hard capturing that both I wanted to do a few shots in the studio to give her a variety.

Kasey

When Kasey came to have her senior photography taken she had been frustrated because she had just finished having the yearbook photographer photograph her. Not only did she not like any of the pictures but said she he would only take a couple shots of each poise and spend maybe 20 minutes with her. Well 1.5 hours later, multiple changes of outfits and after viewing 200 different proofs she knew we are very different. Plus we had a great time!

Alex
Alex is the son of a long time friend of mine from high school so this made the shoot even more special. Alex loves the guitar so I wanted that to be part of his senior shoot. I think we did capture his relazed personality. Alex goes to school in Peachtree City so I was impressed he traveled all the way to Roswell for me to photograph him.

Andrew
We had a great time photographing Andrew's senior shoot because he was up to venture out. So we headed to this old abandoned house and store to give some cool different shots for most of his shoot and it paid off. Andrew also is on the Blessed Trinity Lacrosse team so we added that into the mix and then brought one of his cars to the shoot. We had a blast!

Camden
Photographing Camden was a lot of fun because we just
were not going to do the same old kind of senior pictures.
Camden plays football for Lassiter and he is heading to
Stanford to be their next center. Best of luck Camden

Finally we are back blogging!!!

Having our studio hit by a tornado and then having to move our studio during the heart of wedding season was a challenge. But we are now running smoothly and we wanted to let everyone that has not seen our new studio to have a look. Our new studio is only two miles from the heart of historical Roswell and it sits on five acres. As you can see, not only do we have a wonderful indoor location for studio shots, but there are so many places to shoot on the property. We have our red barn, creek, huge rocks, a giant field (my daughter calls it the meadow), gravel drive lined with a black fence, and real fruit bearing pear trees, plus much more. You are just going to have to come and see it at your next shoot. Hope you are as excited as we are.
